My girls and I walked 10 miles on Saturday. We started at 7:30am, stopped half way and fueled up on snacks and Gatorade, and made the 5 mile trek back to the country club to eat lunch. The walk wasn’t bad until the very end when it started to get hot. And that’s when I think someone in particular started to lose her mind a bit.
Around mile 8, a guy on a recumbent bike rode by, waved, and said “hey ladies!” Lori immediately turned around and asked, “Do you think he’s a quadriplegic?”
Yeah Lori, he’s paralyzed from the neck down. That’s why he just rode past us, PEDALING A BIKE AND WAVING.
