Day 25 of Lovely

I am in Reality TV HEAVEN! If it weren't for the heat, this would be my favorite time of the year. The cold front on Thursday better hurry it's ass up. 98 degrees is sounding pretty damn good.

Day 24 of Lovely

I do not claim to be frugal in any way. I don't spend frivolously by any means, but sometimes the effort of saving a dollar is just not worth it to me. However, my dear friend Lori has started a blog completely devoted to saving a dollar, and now I feel like I need to do my part in the coupon clipping world. I will probably fail miserably, but it's worth a shot, right?

Day 23 of Lovely

All of my decorator/home magazines are biting the dust, left and right. First, Domino. Then, Cottage Living. After those two were cancelled, I did something crazy and ordered Canadian House and Home, which was fun because I could call it "Hoose and Home." One magazine into my subscription and BAM, it's gone. And the funny thing is, they try to be all nice about it and send you Southern Living. All of them. Well people, I already get Southern Living. So now, I get multiple copies and I'm not sure how to make it stop. Make it go away!! There's only so many peach cobbler recipes one girl can take.

The only magazine I rely on now is Lonny. If you haven't discovered it yet, definitely check it out. It's online, so I hope that they can get their shit together enough to keep it running.

These lovely ladies helped me celebrate my 33rd birthday...Dinner at the Belmont and drinks afterwards at Jay Blacks. There's nothing better than best friends, lots of wine, and raunchy dinner conversations!

Day 19 of Lovely

My very own herb garden. This is my attempt at saving money. Actually, that's a lie. It's my attempt at creating more work for Will. I just come up with the ideas. He implements. He's the one that will take care of it. And he's the one that will cook with the herbs. In work speak, I'm the Creative engine, he's the Production engine. That's what I call a well-oiled machine.
