Baby Steps

Bless his heart, he tries. This is Will's attempt to get ANGRY and lay down the law. My version would be rated R, which is why we let Will send these types of emails.

Frank,
I was looking at Clint’s schedule today and it looks like we are already running two weeks behind. Are we going to be able to make this time up, or should I expect a new finish date? This is becoming more than a convenience problem, now it is a financial problem. I cannot just sit here and let this interest build up on the draws we have paid. I don’t know what needs to be done, but I am open to any suggestions. We cannot let this schedule keep getting longer and longer. I need to get this house completed before April.

Thanks,
Will

This would have been my version:

Dear &%$!,
If you do not get your @$$ in gear and finish my house, there is going to be HELL to pay. I am going to BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.

Thanks,
Mimi

I Heart Chris

Chris is my new boyfriend, but don't tell Will. He's not very cute and drives a dorky car, BUT, he's got a place in my heart. He's the only person that gives me good news, shows up when I need him, delivers on time, AND he thinks I'm funny. What more could you want in a cabinet maker?

If it's zero degrees outside.....

And the weatherman says that it is going to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold will it be?

Here's another one:

What's worse than "worst-case scenario?"

Anyone, Anyone?

Will and I just went to Firebowl for lunch and I'm handing over my fortune to Frank - "Commitment is what turns a promise into reality." Apparently Frank has commitment issues. Either that, or he has no earthly idea what the phrase "worst-case" means. It's probably a little of both. January 31st was the worst-case scenario for our final walk-thru. We've passed that and have moved into the wonderfully romantic month of February. So, apparently, you can get worse than worst-case. What should we call it? Horrendous? Appalling? I'm just going to call it Big Fat T for TERRIBLE.
